STYLE Shimmering honey yellow and dense streaks indicate this wonderful extract density, fine exotic banana and pineapple on the nose, some nuts and subtle dried flavours backed by a fine botrytis, beautiful hormony of freshness and sewwtness in the long finish.
Very nice for dessert with fruit salad, lychees or cream-bisquit-cake.
VINIFICATION Harvested at 8° C and sunshin, the grapes with botrytis cinerea were selected per hand. After a maceration of 20 hours and a maturation of 20 hours and a maturation period of 2 years in large oak he can still be stored for another 20 years!
TRAINING SYSTEM The medium high trellis training system and the high canopy privide the berries with optimal photosynthesis and the best air circulation for real good berries. the cane pruning sysstem leaves just one eye to shoot in spring. additionally to the green harvest this brings a maximum of quality into our berries.
TERROIRIn the extremely hot vineyard called Schilling the Pinot Blanc earns all its finesse. The soft hill facing south has different tongues of brown earth, loam and loess. This offers ideal conditions for fine fruit, vibrant herbs and elegant acidity. All grapes growing here, have body at lively easiness, because the adjacent forest Plot makes the nights cool, providing the berries with vibrant elegance.
WEATHER 2015To keep it short and simple, this vintage was fabulously best. Warm, sometimes a litte to warm, dry, sometimes a little too dry, and temperatures like summer during the harvest in autumn, served best quality and beautiful quantity to us.
